This is one of the most inexpensive stores in the whole Inside Passage! I didn't want to pay for a tour to pan gold.. but Daniel, with his carisma and engagement convinced my family to give it a try! Needless to say, we loved the experience! Daniel and Montana were so nice and welcoming that we didn't feel like we were at a store or in a tourist trap! We truly enjoyed our time with them! When you visit, please say HI to Daniel and Montana! And let them know that Rick is not the best.. but Daniel and Montana are (inside joke)!
The crab shack outside has great food , the crab roll was plenty and the crab tomato bisque was flavorful. Very reasonable prices compared to the tourist traps downtown
Largest gift shop in Alaska! Great place for souvenirs to bring home. Great prices, especially in the clearance section... 50% off!
Stopped and ate at The Crab Shack at Whistle Stop right in front of the cruise ship dock. Awesome food and friendly people. Stopped here during my trip and ordered some King crab and enjoyed every bit of it.
