Things to Consider
  • The atmosphere might not be very relaxing due to the presence of many children, with potential for noise.
  • The pricing can be a bit high, with one reviewer spending $75 for two pieces.
  • There is a significant risk of items being lost, as one customer experienced their pieces being lost and was only offered store credit instead of a refund.
  • The establishment's policy for lost items is to provide store credit, not a refund, which may be unsatisfactory for customers.
  • The establishment's owners are not local, which may affect the handling of issues like lost items.
  • The place can get packed very fast, especially on Saturday mornings, indicating it's a popular spot.
  • Customers need to return to pick up their finished pottery in about 10 days after it has been baked.

So many cute items to choose to paint! Pricing was around $20 - $30 depending on what size ceramic you pick. We had so much fun getting crafty for our friend’s bachelorette party.

I recently visited The Hot Spot and had an amazing experience! The studio is cozy and welcoming, with a wide variety of pottery pieces to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing guidance and tips for painting techniques. The atmosphere is not very relaxing, lots of kids banging on the tables and screaming, be prepared. I loved how they had a great selection of paints and tools, allowing for creativity to flow. It’s a little pricey, ended up paying $75 for two pieces so just keep that in mind. Overall, it was a fantastic way to spend an afternoon, and I can't wait to go back and create more beautiful pieces!

Pretty disappointed in this place. They lost my pieces, yet all they are not willing to provide a refund, just store credit. Took my 3 year old daughter and my dad from out of state to paint some pieces together in March. The return slip stated the pieces would be ready by 3/22. I came by on 3/23. I was told they couldn't find them, but that they were just really backed up, so it should just take a few more days. 2 employees took pictures of my return slip and reassured me they would turn up. They also gave a store credit slip for inconvenience. I called about 2 weeks later and they still could not find them. They took down my info and said they'd give me a call back. I was reassured the pieces would be found. I called on 6/3 (almost 2.5 months later!!) since I hadn't heard from anyone. I was told they were likely lost. The employee said maybe someone accidentally took my bag because M last names are so common. I asked for a refund, but was told that policy for lost pieces is store credit because the owners are not local. I was pretty understanding throughout this whole experience with Hot Spot, but I'm incredibly disappointed with how this was handled. I am happy to give back the store credit to get my money refunded. Why would I want to return to paint more pieces with the chance that they would lose them again?

Awesome activity for people visiting. The kids that work there have great helpful attitudes. Great for adults and kids. Reasonably priced for the experience.

I finally got to do this!!! It was a super fun experience here with my two girl friends. We came here at 11am on Saturday morning. This place gets packed very fast. It is very popular. There’s a kid party there, I can tell this is a perfect place for kids’ activities. The price here is very reasonable. Basically you choose one pottery from the shelf, different style has different prices, they are around $25-$50. And then they provide all the supplies and they will bake the finished pottery for you. And you will come back to pick it up in about 10 days. I’ll bring my other friends here. I can tell everyone has fun.
