- The lid for the cup was not a proper match, rendering the item unusable. The customer paid over $40 for a cup they cannot use and is frustrated by the lack of a resolution after contacting customer service.
- The reviewer mentions that the pricing might be considered 'pricey', but justifies it by the value of spending time with family.
- Due to COVID-19, there were limitations on what could be done, although the establishment still had many offerings.
- The customer experienced very poor service regarding pickup. They were told the item would be ready by the weekend, then by the evening, but never received a call. When they called back, there was no answer, and the establishment was closed for the next three days, preventing them from picking up their item.
- The customer experienced extremely poor customer service, with staff closing the door on them before closing time. They strongly advise against visiting and recommend a competitor.
Buyer beware. I chose a cup with lid as I wanted a functional item. I love the way my cup turned out but the lid is not a match. I paid over $40. to paint a cup I can’t even use. What a disappointment. I did call and was told I would hear back from a manager but that has yet to happen. While we had a nice experience I am frustrated that my expensive cup is useless without the proper fitting lid.
I had taken my two grandkids to do something different. We had a blast. We loved it. Staff more than accommodating, my 11 year old granddaughter was singing Fleetwood Mac with me..I loved it. This year she turns 12 and we are going back her request. Pricey, maybe? how do you put a price tag on your time with your grandkids...see you all soon. ❤️ ...
Wonderful place and wonderful people. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 they are able to do limited things but they have tons of offerings. My son need to do some projects for boy scouts and we didn't have any clue on those. The staff Sam and Julia patiently explained everything to us. Must visit this place for all pottery needs.
Visiting CT. Asked to have completed early. Told rushed service and will have done by weekend. Never got called. When call told will be ready by evening. never got called. When called no answer . Closed next 3 days. Had to leave . Unable to pick up! Poor service!
This was a few years ago but we will never forget! We were supposed to go to this place to do some pottery but some lady closed the door on our faces! It was not even closing time. We went to the Kiwi Spoon nearby and we were heavily disappointed. God awful customer service afterwards, take your money and go to the Pottery Barn in West Hartford with kind staff. I would’ve rated this 0 stars if I could. Would not recommend.
