Had a great experience with the instructed wheel class today. Very informative and fun at the same time. Will return!!
Although the pottery studio is charming, its location in a less desirable area is a downside. The customer service provided by Aughie was unsatisfactory. I contacted her on several occasions to inquire about the status of our pieces, but she was consistently rude on each occasion. She failed to make the effort to verify their completion. Since we reside an hour away, we would periodically check on our pieces during our visits to the area. Additionally, a family member reached out to Aughie, but she refused to inspect the shelf for us. Twenty minutes later, we received a text message indicating that the pieces were ready.
Had a good time with the girls. We went on a Friday around 4. There were maybe 3 other groups there. 2 of us did glaze and 2 did acrylic. Staff was not real helpful at all. We had to ask what their process was, where to get paint, supplies and brushes. Got less help when our pieces were ready. 1 person was painting the the staff was just standing around talking. We just found our own pieces a left. Want to try again in a month or so to give them time to work on their process.
We had a girls day out including the granddaughters. It was so nice! We all learned together. I did a Christmas tree that day. The employees were so helpful and patient with us!! Then my daughters threw me a Splatter Painting party In April. It was so much fun with the entire family!! I have been back again to paint a yarn bowl and a Buddah Planter. I'm no artist, but they come out of the kiln looking beautiful!! Highly recommend if you are looking for something different to do that doesn't cost much money...plus you get something to take home!!
