Dont let the graduation rate sway you. This place has phenomenal teachers and tons of help if you look for it and/or ask for it. The tutors have been crucial in my academic success. I wish some more credits would transfer but other than that this place is awesome. Beautiful campus that's always well maintained. Nice disc golf course out back and people are friendly.
They offer classes to people of all ages! I started taking classes when I was 16. They work with local high schools to allow high schoolers to get free college. What a cool idea! People and staff are friendly, the other day I had car troubles and one of the professors offered to help. Nice campus! I love the disc golf course!
when I last attended I used the disability services because I qualify for their help under the ADA(Americans with disability act). The person in charge of assisting me actively worked against my needs and in the long run is the direct cause of me dropping the class and eventually leaving college. all from lack of assistance I was entitled to under the ADA. It is my belief that the disability services was in violation of the ADA. My experience at WIT outside of the disability services was very positive. therefore it's my belief if you have a disability to maybe consider a more helpful institution then WIT. If you do not have a disability you would probably be very happy here.
I have a good college experience here. I came here not knowing very much about the language and everyone here helped me. I got my associates from here and then transfer to another college. The transfer was so smooth and hassle free. My teachers were amazing and helpful. The trio program was also very helpful for me. I never have problems with financial aid because I was always able to communicate with the department.
I signed up for college over a month ago and emailed the teachers asking about there web design program. I just received an admission email saying I'm excepted. But for same price I signed up for coders camp. It's 18 weeks vs 2 years. The teachers and faculty are not dedicated to there students. Coder camps counselor has contacted me every day to see how I'm doing. They encourage you and always has someone available 24/7 to help you through the program. Plus they dedicate time just to get you employed. I do not recommend you to go to witcc for web design. They don't even offer job help.
