This studio is the perfect place for adults and children to enjoy a creative experience! My 7 year old granddaughter and I had a great time with a hand building clay lesson. Sharon made it fun as well as educational. Highly recommended!

I have been playing with clay in Sharon’s Studio for about 6 years. She is an extraordinary artist and teacher. You may think you have no creative talent when you first enroll in her class, but you will be surprised! Sharon has a way of bringing out your artistic self! She will help you create a mug, a bowl, a vase, or whatever you desire while learning all the basics in building a piece of your own. No matter how long you’ve worked in clay, Sharon will help you discover new techniques and will encourage you to explore new ideas independently. The environment in The Studio is warm and friendly. It is one of my favorite places to be.

I’m currently enrolled in my third open studio session at The Studio and would recommend it highly to anyone—from complete novice, as I was, to more advanced student—wanting to learn the basics or continue to explore the creative possibilities of hand built pottery. Sharon, the owner and instructor, is a talented ceramicist and a wonderful teacher. Class sizes are small, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the process itself is interesting, creative and fun.

I have been attending "The studio" over 2 yrs now and still find it a rewarding experience. Every session I still continue to learn new techniques and methods to miraculously conform clay into wonderful objects of art. Sharon, the owner and instructor is very professional.and willing to share her expertise with each and every one of her students. Even during these difficult times she has made EVERY effort possible to ensure that her students health and safety comes first by enforcing very strict sanitation and covid guidelines. I know there are other area studios with similar offerings, however, i think The STUDIO is by far the very best!

We had a raku firing in the parking lot with Sharon Jeter and her students, Sunday, Oct 22. Sharon and her students made beautiful forms, and the glazes were fantastically reduced!! A great day with great people.
