The Craft Guild is truly a magical place. I have taken two classes each in class and clay. My wonderful instructor Linda has helped me create amazing glass sculptures and even some very nice soap dishes! Cannot recommend more highly the numerous classes they have in glass, jewelry making, metal work, painting, book binding, and clay!!! It has added a joy to my life I truly value ❣️
I recently finished a figure drawing class at The Craft Guild of Dallas, and I am so glad that I enrolled. The instructor was knowledgeable and approachable. Through quick sketches, I learned how to capture the energy of the figure quickly while focusing on proportion and movement. Longer poses improved my understanding of form and shading. The class atmosphere was welcoming and supportive. In short, I recommend any drawing class at The Craft Guild, but everyone should try a figure drawing class at least once.
I attended a Beading Class taught by @Marthalee. It was a super relaxing, informative class . We were given clear directions and lots of options and tons of materials including really cool accent pieces. We all walked away with great pieces and I feel I could try this at home ( some supervision lol)
Went when they were having a ahow/sale. Tents put up in the parking lot. Some very nice art pieces available, of almost any media you could imagine
I've been impressed with instructor Tina Cauller's approach to her drawing classes from day one. She works with each student to help us grow and learn, while ensuring our unique styles and approaches are supported and not stifled. This extended to the Craft Guild's newest offering, Figure Drawing. Tastefully approached, with the utmost respect for our models, Tina provided excellent guidance and insight on drawing the human form, from the unique angles of the body down to the structure of the hand.
