I made a great spatula in the woodshop class. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and knowledgeable. This is a community resource to help get most any project or business started.

The Mint is incredible! We are so lucky here in Rutland to have this makerspace as a resource. I use the pottery studio, took a class in stained glass, and my husband has started using the incredible woodshop. There's also equipment for fiber art, laser cutting, bike repair, metal work, jewelry... You can find tools and expert advice here for almost any craft you can imagine.

This place is great. You ever wake up and wish you had a robotic arm to take your car out of neutral, a chalk to hold the car in place, and a device to start the car remotely to warm up in the morning??? What if i told you that YOU could MAKE IT YOURSELF??? and with profesional software and machines??? More people need to know about this place... More people need robotic arms to help them start their cars in the cold winter mornings.
