We had such a fantastic experience at The Painted Penguin! I brought my dog-loving daughter in for a fun day, and we were blown away by the personalized attention we received—especially from the owner, Robin. She went above and beyond to help my daughter pick out the perfect dog statue to paint, and she was incredibly accommodating with color choices, offering helpful tips and tricks to bring the piece to life. Robin was so encouraging and made my daughter feel like a true artist. My daughter had an absolute blast using a multitude of vibrant colors, and the final piece turned out amazing! The dog statue now proudly sits in our living room, and it’s such a special keepsake. We’re already planning to come back soon since Grandma tried to take the statue home for her own shelf! Thank you, Robin, for making our visit so memorable. Highly recommend!
As a busy working mom of two, planning a successful birthday party for my kids can feel overwhelming. But after reaching out to Robin and the team at Painted Penguin, all my stress melted away. They made the process so easy and fun! We threw my daughter the most fabulous slime party for 20 of her friends, and the experience was incredible. The staff took care of everything—from set-up to entertainment. The kids were fully engaged and having fun the entire time. The private party space in the back was perfect, offering a calm and contained area away from the rest of the store. I would throw another party there in a heartbeat!
My daughter just had her 5th birthday party at the Hawthorn location. She had a great time, and we were impressed by the employees helping with our party. They were hands-on: setting the table with plates and waters, putting disposable smocks on kids, helping dry the ceramics, wrapping each ceramic and labeling with children's names, cutting the cake, etc. everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and the party was very reasonably priced.
