What a great time at my first pottery lesson! Had no idea what I was doing, but by the end of the first class I felt like I had a good understanding of the basics. The studio is so calm and serene. And I even made some new friends in the process. I think I may be entering my pottery era. Thanks London Clayworks

Just took my first class and I'm absolutely hooked. Not a terribly formal class setting (which I really like) but plenty of attention as needed when you have questions. Nice small classes, too. I definitely see myself re-upping for the foreseeable future.

I joined the London Clayworks about 2 1/2 years ago, soon after it opened. I had been wanting to get back into ceramics for years, but I didn't want to deal with setting up my own studio. When I met with Karin, I knew it was going to be a good fit, because she was so warm and welcoming. At the time, I was doing all hand building, but I later became interested in learning how to throw on the wheel. I did a private tuition session with Karin and she showed me the ins and outs of beginning throwing. She was very patient while I clumsily attempted the new techniques. Karin is so genuine and kind and she has become one of my favorite people on the planet! Overall the studio has a great vibe and all the members are nice and respectful of other people's work. There are plenty of wheels and tables for everyone to spread out. It's very convenient to be able to buy the clay in the studio as well as have many glaze options available for no extra charge. Kiln firings happen often, so I never have to wait very long for my work to be fired. I highly recomend this studio!

I recently went here for my birthday and I must say....I LOOOOVED EVERY MOMENT of this experience! I will definitely be going back. I have never done pottery before and I was slightly afraid that I wouldn't be able to create anything. However, with the instructor's advice and demonstrations, I was able to create 3 pieces! Prices are GREAT and she is so sweet and funny!!! I highly recommend this location for your pottery lessons!!!
