My 10 year old daughter has been doing the afterschool kids ceramics class for over a year now and she loves it! The teacher Jessica, is amazing and the creative community of Yaro is a great place for young artists to thrive. The class is the highlight of her week and it is always fun to see what fun creative ceramics have been made each week. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Yaro. The facilities are great, the staff is cool and friendly and goes above and beyond for the students and members. There's a great community feeling and lots of fun events. If you've taken ceramics classes elsewhere before but feel like you're just not getting it or you can't make any progress, you need to take a class with Evan at Yaro (and then give me one of the perfectly centered things you're now able to make as a thank you).

I took an introductory class where I learned how to set up my clay, operate a throwing wheel and sculpt a bowl. The instructor was smart and attentive, which led to everyone in the class getting personalized instruction. I made a really nice bowl that I put my crystals on.

I Love Yaro , Beautiful big open studio. Plenty of wheels to thrown on and tables to hand build. Supportive staff , willing to help you. I took a class with Evan in September and was hooked. Became a member to enjoy more studio time.

I've taken classes at a few different ceramics studios throughout Brooklyn/Manhattan, and Yaro has by far been my favorite! The staff/instructors are all helpful, patient, and kind, the community is so welcoming, and the studio itself is spacious and well-kept. I've taken three semester classes here now and have thoroughly enjoyed starting my pottery journey here. I can't recommend it enough! :')
