I painted some pre-made pottery here with a friend and it was a great experience! They had a great selection of pieces to paint as well as lots of different glazes to choose from all clean and neatly organized. The pieces were done in just a few days too, which was nice!
The experience was why I gave five stars. We had such a fun time and it was such a chill atmosphere! The worker let us pick where we wanted to sit and it wasn’t busy at all even on a Saturday afternoon. I’m glad we came here instead of dealing with other painting places that are always crowded (like the one in Provo). The down side was that the selection wasn’t super big but they had enough options that my husband and I both picked something we wanted to paint. The paint selection wasn’t very big either which was a down side but it was enough to meet our needs for what we wanted to paint. The cost was affordable. The firing was quick and we picked it up within a few days which was awesome! And the products turned out great! I’d definitely go back! (Just a heads up, we went there when it was still Fika Art Lounge. It just recently changed to the Tilted Kiln literally right after we went. So I don’t know if the experience has changed but hopefully not!)
My sisters and I + cousin took a 6 wk pottery course through Fika and totally LOVED it. Bethany was amazing at teaching and managing her studio. She gave great tutorials, but also helped each of us personally. Loved the class. Would love to get a membership through her studio or take another course. I would highly recommend her studio & pottery classes!
I went to the Fika Pottery Studio with my family. I've always enjoyed art projects. I have not done as much art in the last few years as I would like. Fika Pottery Studio was a great opportunity to do an art project because they have all the supplies ready to go. I didn't have to prepare an area to paint at, I didn't have to order supplies and paints (and have a bunch left over taking space somewhere). This was an easy way to slow down and do something creative. The kids liked it. Even our 4 year old painted a clay item. I could see this being fun as an activity for a youth group. This would be a great date activity, too.
