I loved our ring making class! I'd never done any metal working before. Sue was so patient, and such a good teacher. The small class size made it really easy to follow along and get our rings made. I really enjoyed this and will definitely be checking out more classes!
Sue is a very friendly lady. With her help, I made a moldavite pendant. It’s such an amazing shop! If I have the chance to visit Madison again, I will definitely come back here.
Had a great deal of fun at the studio making stained glass flowers. I just wanted to learn a bit about stained glass. Sue is patient with questions and encouraging, and very chill, when I felt a bit overwhelmed. Really happy I took this class, will take another in the future!
Torn Edge Arts is a magical space. My son who is 11 wanted to make a pin for his kilt. Sue welcome him into the space, worked with his design, putting together a plan, and helped him bring his vision to life. I am tremendously impressed with her skill both with metalworking and as a thoughtful teacher. What a gift to have her as a resource in Madison. We will both be coming back to keep learning. Thanks, Torn Edge Arts!
If you have ever been curious about jewelry making and have wanted to give it a try, you should absolutely sign up for a class with Sue at Torn Edge Arts. I had never done any soldering or metal arts of any kind before taking a class with Sue. I was nervous about my lack of experience, but it was not necessary. Sue is a very patient teacher, you get a lot of individual attention, and the classes are laid back and upbeat. Highly recommend.
