Frank is always a friendly wealth of knowledge regarding pottery. Been visiting Mineral Point for decades and Mulberry Pottery is first on my list of places to visit and pick up a useful momento. Got some nice stories and new designs to use at home. Love the coffee mugs and chip/dip bowl.
Had a wonderful visit here over the weekend. Frank, the owner, showed us some tips and tricks about porcelain and pottery. His wares are simple, beautiful, and functional. I was excited to find several butter bells, something I have been wanting for a while. It was hard to choose, they were each a little different and all quite lovely. Frank helped me understand how to use it and I can't wait to start using it so we always have soft butter on hand!
Wonderful experience visiting Mulberry Pottery yesterday! Frank did a full demonstration of making a vase and explaining the intricate, delicate and most beautiful art he creates. We love our new pottery!!! if you're visiting Mineral Point during the Fall Art Fair or at any other time, be sure to stop in at Mulberry Pottery, you won't be disappointed!
Fantastic stuff and an even better owner. He is sociable and puts on a great and informative show when he's doing his thing. I have several of his pieces and came in a few weeks ago to find an urn for my uncles ashes. We didn't go with his, but I sincerely wanted to. I have several of his pieces and would continue to shop there and grow my collection.
Where can you go to get some handmade dinner plates, meet with the artisan who mines the clay and makes those plates and engages you in sharing his knowledge ? Frank at the Mulberry Pottery Shop. We purchased 2 pie plates and ordered two more to use as dinner plates. As soon as Frank lets us know they're all ready, we are driving up Mineral Point Wisconsin to pick them up and thank him personally.
