Went for a beginners class using the wheel and had a wonderful time. Dallas was an amazing instructor. So kind, skilled and patient. He made everything look so easy and then it was our turn. Even though we didn't make what was in our mind when we started we had a super enjoyable time. The 2 1/2 hours went by so fast. Highly recommend!
I went for Valentine’s Day and had an awesome time. Our instructor Dallas had an amazing personality and helped us through the experience as this was our first time! I definitely will be coming back and recommend taking a class.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Wooten Clayworks! Dallas, Taylor, and Sarah are exceptionally skilled and incredibly kind individuals. They provide classes for all skill levels, so whether you are just a beginner or wanting to hone your craft, this is the place for you! I've personally taken two classes at the studio and I received amazing one-on-one instruction. This is the place where I felt my work progress past beginner, as I was learning techniques I had never been introduced to before. Their dedication to fostering a place where creativity can thrive is inspiring and I definitely will be going back!
Great experience. A nice balance of instruction and solo time to get the creative juices flowing. Our instructor, Taylor was super. Two hours went by in a flash..so great Zen. We wore old clothes ready to get a lil messy, but not too bad. My short gel mani held up. I made 3 pieces and can't wait to see the final fired glazed. I have a new found appreciation for the masters of this craft. The studio has beautiful unique pieces for purchase including ceramic earrings perfect for holiday gifts! I plan to go back for more classes, cost competitive.
I’ve been a member since June 2023 and love the space! It’s open and airy, and plenty of space to work. Classes are well-taught and there’s something for every level of potter. Dallas, Taylor & Sarah are all kind, generous, and talented folks. Definitely check out the regular gallery openings too. I’m happy to be a part of the community they’re building at Wooten Clayworks.
