At the Townsend Atelier, we are so extremely fortunate to have a place to learn, create and meet some of the best talent in the art world today. Places like Townsend are rare; where an artist on various skill levels from beginner to professional can learn and practice their art. Learn classical techniques in figurative, portrait, landscape and still life painting and sculpture - training that is illusive in most art schools. Whether tips and techniques are built upon or just used to enhance a particular form of expression, all are welcome at the Townsend Atelier. So grateful!
Townsend atelier is an amazing place to practice and learn art. Not many studios like these in the region. I have taken 3 workshops here and the community is awesome thanks to Peggy! The art supply store is great as well, you’ll find everything you need here.
Always a welcoming and creative atmosphere at Townsend no matter which class you are attending. They continually offer a broad range of classes geared to all levels of experience. And their instructors are top notch. I will continue to enroll in their classes knowing I will walk away renewed, refreshed and a better artist.
I highly recommend! This was probably the most gratifying workshop I've ever attended. Anna Carll has been on my radar for about 4 years, and though I couldn't manage attending in person, the Zoom workshop online worked very well. Peggy did an amazing admin job behind the scenes and kept us all connected. It was great all around. Thanks so much.
