  • There was a significant delay in response from management regarding a policy application, causing frustration for the customer.
  • The establishment's policy on applying credits to different courses was unclear or inconsistently communicated.
  • Classes can fill up very quickly, so customers should check the website frequently.

I was really excited to bring my family for a pottery class and bought 4 passes. My kids had a great time, but unfortunately I was sick and didn't want to spread COVID. So, I called and was told I would be able to take the one night class later, but instead I wanted to take an 8 week course, which is much more expensive. My daughter's and I were told I could apply the $75 from the original class towards the much more expensive ($245) 8 week course. I was going to purchase wheel classes for 3 people. However, due to the delayed response, the lack of understanding about me having COVID, and the flip flopping on policy, I don't feel I can support a place that my family really enjoyed. The first person I spoke to was polite and understanding, but she said the manager needed to do the application of the $75 towards the class and she would call me the following day. Two weeks later, I call back because I had heard nothing. The manager was in a meeting, but the person who answered again was very polite and said it shouldn't be a problem. However, I still don't get a call, but instead I get an email from the manager saying that she can not apply the value of the original class to the 8 week course and that basically I'm out of luck with the original $75. No make up class, but just money lost. Which contradicts what the other two employees had told me. I wasn't asking for a refund, but was wanting to apply the funds from the missed class to a larger purchase. It was a very disappointing experience with their manager. I recommend the Clay Connection or Spokane Potters Guild. The people there do what they say they'll do.

I've taken multiple wheel classes here! I keep coming back because it re awakens my joys for ceramics! The education is there! depending on your instructor, you can learn what you want to learn based on where you are at in your knowledge and skill. that's so adaptive. They're very educated and Friendly. All skill levels are welcomed and it's such an inviting atmosphere. Socially and aesthetically! Haha it's an art studio with great lighting! Lots of equipment to use and inspirations to look at to guide ideas for my own pottery decisions. Such a vibe. Classes get filled quickly. Very quickly. Check the website ✨🌿

...I'm a member of the Urban Art Co-op, and I love it there. Everyone is so friendly and laid back as we work on our art. ...Lots and lots of laughter as well as some very talented and experienced artists. Everyone is always helpful and I am continually improving my skills. ...I also can take workshops such as making face jugs, making fused glass pieces, and silk scarves. ...It's such an affordable way to stay active in the artists' community!

I took a class here and it was so much fun! As soon as I can find the time I will be taking another, and I love the option to join as a member and have open studio time to work on things. This is one of very few authentic creative spaces I have had the opportunity to visit.
