Things to Consider
  • instructors were rude, talked down to students trying to learn or making mistakes, and were very pushy, quickly making it a point to single out those who were taking longer than themselves.
  • Would not recommend if you are looking to get into pottery or a low stress hobby to pick up in your free time.

Such a great experience! A wide variety of pottery to choose from with clear pricing. Staff is so attentive and explained everything and how it works. Any and every color you want, with stencils and other options like them. Cute store front with some soaps and candles as well!

This pottery wheel class is both fun and challenging! It also includes some handbuilding techniques. The instructor is truly committed to making sure each student learns the right way from the start. He is supportive and encouraging, but also direct in pointing out mistakes that could cause problems down the road—something I really appreciate. If you're serious about learning pottery the right way, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I highly recommend this class!

Went into a second class after watching all of the prescribed videos about techniques and procedures we would be expected to know. I was expecting the environment to be centered around begginers and building foundational knowledge as this is the first time a lot of people are doing this. Instead instructors were rude, talked down to students trying to learn or making mistakes, and were very pushy, quickly making it a point to single out those who were taking longer than themselves. Would not recommend if you are looking to get into pottery or a low stress hobby to pick up in your free time.

This was such a fun date idea, and great for all ages! I’ve done pottery painting at a couple different places in the past however this has been my favorite, I found that the pricing is lower here which is a plus! The owner Eileen was the sweetest, she was very helpful, and had great advice. We are hoping to come back in the future for a pottery class. Updated to add photos of the final product.

Loved this shop and all the employees! They had a wonderful selection of pieces and a lot of variety. I painted the cutest yarn bowl and Bennet helped us through the whole process. Can’t wait to go back!
